Romans 10:9-10 says that if “thou shalt confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Guess what, we as Christians confessed, believed and used the tongue that was in our mouths to do so.
Now, the same tongue that we confessed and said we believe, is the same tongue that Jesus said we can ask the Father what we will and He will give it to us; if it is in accordance to His will (John 16:23).
It’s the same tongue that Jesus said that if we say “unto this mountain, be thou removed and cast into the sea” it will happen (Matt 17:20; 21:21, Mk 11:23).
It’s the same tongue that can rebuke the devowerer, command demons to leave, and be able to raise the dead. It’s the same tongue that Soloman in all of his wisdom said that the power of death and life lies in it (Prov 18:21).
So, in saying that, why aren’t you using it as the spiritual tool God designed it as? Remember, in Genesis God created the heavens and the earth – and He used just His mouth to do so!
Forgot? Hmmm, let’s see, “and God said “let there be…” Go read Genesis again and meditate on it.
Start using your spiritual tool – your mouth, today. It’s just waiting for you to open it!
